United Nations Employees in Kuwait gather in support of the Jahra fire Victims

In support of the victims and families affected by the disastrous fire in Jahra, and to share the sorrows and sadness of the community, the United Nations team in Kuwait has donated blood at their headquarters in Mishrif on 31 August 2009. Kuwait Central Blood Bank welcomed this effort, and provided their mobile unit for use at this event. Mr. Salah Bourjini, Officer in Charge at UNDP Kuwait stressed the United Nation's hope for the preservation of the country and its goal to work on projects dealing with Crisis prevention and recovery, as well as disaster management.
