Box Hill College in Kuwait (BHCK) contributes to environment and gender awarness

A graphics design Teacher at Box Hill College Kuwait (BHCK) has assigned her 13 students to to chose between or develop work around the following two themes:

1. "Your planet needs you. Unite to combat climate change" the 2009 World Environment Day theme.
   
2. An awareness campaign for gender equality.
   

As this is a 5 weeks assignment (due one week before World Environment Day) UNDP supported the students by bringing in two experts to talk to the students about both topics mentioned above to help them come up with ideas for their projects. It is in the plan to display these designs during the first week of June to coincide with the UN World Environment Day.
