Strengthening the Kuwait Airways Corporation - Project number: 00013280

In the sphere of public administration reform in the State of Kuwait, this project aims to turn the government owned airline - Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC) into a competitive and profitable establishment that is attractive to potential investors. UNDP and KAC have worked hand in hand to conduct added value analysis and reform measures for cost reductions; introducing competency based human resource assessments and online applications; development of an advanced electronic Decision Support System; building strategic alliances for identifying potential alliances with other airlines; and developing route and fleet plans.
